1 bedroom available in this beautiful sunlit 2br/1ba apartment. It is a railroad apartment on the 2nd floor of a three-story, family-owned building. Rent is $1150/mo and utilities range between $30-50/mo (less in the winter). I am moving out on February 17th to move in with my boyfriend. Move-in would be as early as the 17th. The lease renews March 1st.

The room available is at the front end of the apartment, next to the kitchen and bathroom. My roommate’s room is at the other end, with its own entrance. There is an extra room between our two bedrooms, which we use for closet space and extra storage.

The landlords live downstairs a few days a week so the building is very well kept. There is no laundry on premises but there is a laundromat around the corner on Cypress and Greene. Heat and hot water are included. We are an 8 minute walk to either the Myrtle/Wyckoff L or the DeKalb L and a 5 minute walk to the Seneca Ave M.

You would be living with my roommate, a female freelancer in her mid-twenties. She works from home part time.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is laid back, quiet and clean, friendly and independent. For the most part, we keep our doors open but usually do our own thing unless we are watching TV or hanging in for dinner and some wine.
