It is a single room ($1,060/month) on the third floor of a walk-up apartment at 89 Guernsey Street, Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

You will be living with three of my friends (all guys in their late 20's/early 30's) with a shared kitchen and single bathroom. The building also has a shared wash machine/dryer in the basement and a shared outside space with tables/benches.

The price and location is really hard to beat.

• McCarren Park (huge park with baseball, soccer, volleyball, and a track for running)

• Tons of restaurants

• Great nightlife (tons of bars/clubs)

• The water with views of Manhattan,

• A few gyms,

• Williamsburg (right on the border),
