Williamsburg
1 bedroom apartment in a luxury building (2013) available as early as December 6. Available for lease takeover, with the lease ending at the end of May. If you want to renew, the building asks for 60-days notice before the original lease ends.
This apartment is wonderful and we are sad to leave it! Details: private balcony with a view of the Empire State Building, central air, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, 12' ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, lots of storage. It's also very quiet; we've very rarely heard our neighbors, and the street is pretty quiet. We are taking our furniture, but we'd be happy to leave up our curtains for you (sheers + tan blackouts -- not pictured since these photos are from when we moved into the empty apt). Rent does not include utilities, which you would pay (Fios is $40/month, gas is usually ~$18, and electricity ranges depending on the season).
Building details: Doorman building; rooftop has patio tables, grills, and incredible views of all of Manhattan and Williamsburg; laundry room and gym in the building; community billiards table and free coffee in the building. We are close to all the great restaurants and bars in Williamsburg and have super easy walking/transportation to Manhattan. Parking available at the building for an additional fee.
5 minute walk to the M, J Marcy Ave. Stop and ~10 minutes from the L Bedford Stop. The B62 bus to DUMBO and LIC stops right around the corner. Easy access to the Williamsburg Bridge and LES/Manhattan.
$20 application fee for lease takeover. Building requires the following with the application: copy of ID, proof of income (either in two most recent paystubs, or tax form from 2018), record of last six months’ rent payment, Landlord Reference letter. Security deposit is one month's rent. The process was quick and easy for us after we'd turned in these forms.
