I am moving in June but still have a few months left on my lease in the Highgate Building on Third Ave. between 94th and 95th Streets. I am looking for someone to either take over the lease, or rent it for July and August. It is a roomy one-bedroom apartment on a high floor facing west, and so gets lots of light and is very quiet. The monthly rent is $3,135 and is likely to go up by about $100 when the lease is up for renewal in September.

If anyone would be interested, or knows someone who would be interested, in taking over the lease on assignment from me, please let me know. I would be happy to negotiate a discount on the rent for the remainder of the lease.
