This 26th floor studio has an amazing south-facing view of the Manhattan sky-line and big sunlit windows. There are two large closets; plenty of shelf space; a kitchen with high-efficiency LG refrigerator, dish washing machine, and microwave; in-unit central radiator heating and air conditioner. A gas stove/oven with heating/cooling costs are covered included in the rent.

The building has 24-hour concierge service with very friendly doormen who'll always open the door for you, receive your packages, protect against any uninvited or unwanted visitors, and make it a pleasure living there. There's a large modern laundry room in the lobby, a very nice rooftop deck with wifi, and four elevators so there's never a long wait in the lobby. The management company is onsite for fast repairs. A parking lot in the basement can be negotiated separately. Many museums (Metropolitan Museum, Asia Society, Guggenheim, Frick, Whitney), banks, and restaurants are nearby. A 24-hour Duane Reade is on the first floor.

In the neighborhood, there are many smaller grocery stores and a large Fairway grocery store ~6min walk. Central park is 10 min West, Carl Schurz Park/East River are 5 minutes to the East. It's about 15 minutes from the apartment door to 125th St Harlem Station (for commuters on Metro North).

For transportation, it's a 3 minute walk to 77th Street station 6 line, 79th Street cross-town bus stops right in front of the building, downtown 2nd Avenue buses stop around the corner (M15, etc), 2nd Avenue subway is also minutes away, and cabs are very easy to find.

I will pay the building's rather large $3600 application fee except for a $150 processing fee/credit check fee. If you'd rather pay all the fees, I'll discount the rent $150/m and will be flexible on lease term. Email me if you want more photos.
