It is a *fully furnished* lovely studio (including, if you want, bed linens, towels, comforter, iron, coffee machine, pillows, pots/pens, cutlery, etc.). It is a truly comfortable studio with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and a large kitchen (with plenty of counter and cupboard space). -- Amenities --
The apartment is pre-wired for cable, has a microwave oven, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, pots, dinner plates, linens, etc. There is a wall mounted AC unit. There is a real bed, 3 bookshelves, a lounge chair for TV watching, a table for dining/working, several dining chairs. Two closets. The tenant has access to the basement where a washing machine and a drier are located (coin operated). The apartment is located on the 2nd floor: 1 flight of stairs from the building's entrance (very manageable but not suitable for people using a wheelchair or a walker).

-- The Neighborhood --
UES, quiet, nice, safe, convenient, Carl Schurz park 2 blocks away for jogging. 12 minutes by foot to Central Park and the MET. Getting around: M15 just off the corner, M11 a few steps away, Subway 4/5/6 on 86th street and Lexington. Also, the new 2nd Avenue subway has a nearby stop!

The monthly charge is $1990.
What is included:
- basic rent
- electricity, heating, hot water, cooking gas,
- monthly cleaning by my cleaning lady.
What is not included:
- Internet / Cable TV (but the apartment is pre-wired for cable)

-- Lease --
The tenant must be willing to sign a year long lease, as per regulations of the cooperative. This requires a fairly standard list of documents, but no board interview. It is of the utmost importance that you (the prospective tenant) promptly provide these documents because it will considerably expedite the board approval process. If you are not able or willing to comply with this requirement, this apartment is unfortunately not for you. I will provide the detailed list of documents by email.
