Manhattan
The rent is $2100 a month (a steal for a true one-bedroom!), and heat and water are included in the rent. The kitchen has a DISHWASHER and stainless steel appliances. The bathroom is spacious, and the living room is big enough to fit a sectional couch as well as a coffee table, media cabinet, and bar table with plenty of room. In the short hallway by the door, there's a broom closet and additional storage higher up. The bedroom has tons of storage in the closet, including a separate storage area close to the ceiling, and can fit a queen bed, two bedside tables, and a dresser with ease. The apartment is a third-floor walkup and faces the back of the building, so it's peaceful and quiet even when it's loud on the street.
Location:
The apartment is just two blocks from the Q train at 94th and 2nd, and less than a 10-minute walk to the 4-5-6 at 86th and Lexington. The 86th street crosstown bus stops less than a block away, so it's a breeze to go across the park. There's a Key Food grocery store on the corner and two Starbucks within a two block radius, and a bunch of cute little restaurants and bars (including Nick's, with the best pizza, Drunken Munkey for Indian food, and Cafe D'Alsace for outdoor brunch in the summer.) Less than a 5-minute walk away is 86th St, where you'll find Whole Foods, Fairway, movie theaters, banks, and lots of shopping, including Sephora, Barnes & Noble, and H&M. Tons of bars along 2nd Avenue as well! Would love to pass this spacious, quiet, and perfectly located apartment along to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have
