I renewed my lease in February, but my father is ill and requested I be with him for his care. This is the reason I am moving. Otherwise, I would gladly stay here till the end.
The apartment is in a pre-war building and it’s larger than average for the area. It’s approx. 1,200 square feet. The floorplan is well designed and offers massive bedrooms with ample closet space throughout. The unit was updated prior to us moving in. It’s on the 2nd floor.
The building maintenance is superb! Management is very attentive to requests made. There’s good security throughout the building and it’s wired for Verizon Fios.
Rent includes: Water & Heat. We pay electric & cooking gas. Full size fridge, Dishwasher & Microwave come with the unit.
The location is superb! We’re located right above the Kew Gardens/Union Turnpike Subway station...literally right above...with multiple bus stops right outside your door. The only thing missing is a portal with a ‘beam me down’ button to drop you straight onto the subway platform.
The building is rent-regulated and so is our lease. It is extremely rare to find a short-term lease of this type in this location. After the lease ends, you are welcome to extend pursuant to the renewal terms offered to you by the landlord.
All interested parties are subject to landlord’s approval. No pets.
