So sad to have to leave this incredible apartment! Just a 5-minute walk to the Grove St. PATH train.

1-BR Railroad apartment on the 3rd floor in a brownstone available for a Jun or July move-in. Situated on beautiful York st. and Grove, steps away from famous JC restaurants and tourist attractions like Razza Pizza Artigianale, Frankie JC, Newark ave, City Hall, Van Vorst Park, and Exchange Place. Has bike storage right beside your apartment door.

Partially furnished if you prefer. I can throw in a queen metal bed frame, 2 window air conditioners, 8x10 area rug, two bedside tables, a large Kallax bookshelf and some dining chairs.

PROS:

- BROWNSTONE: The building is historic and features exposed brick walls and a robust heating system in the winter.
- LANDLORD: Kind, efficient landlord who is always on top of fixing any issues that may arise.
- NEIGHBORS: Only ONE other rented apartment with very nice, quiet tenants who are always bringing in my packages, etc.
- LOCATION: This is my favorite part. You will be close to all of the best that JC has to offer, from transportation to parks and restaurants. I've spent my time here biking, enjoying park lunches, eating out, buying wine and delicacies at Cool Vines (next door) and jogging to the waterfront.

CONS:

WALKUP: Though this is barely a con. You only need climb three short stairways to reach the apartment. It feels more like a 2nd fl walkup as the 1st fl is the lobby. Not a workout by any means but not ideal for a person with physical limitations.

LAUNDRY: No laundry here, but the landlord is very flexible when it comes to portable washers/dryers. As long as it connects to the faucet, it's fair game.

PETS: No dogs allowed, though an exception can be made for cats.


WHY I'M LEAVING: Work-related reasons. The lease is good until August 31st so I'm open to a temporary lease-takeover with the option to extend or bringing someone in to make a new lease.
