2 bedrooms of approx equal size, one slightly smaller than the other (the smaller bedroom is the one pictured). Huge sunny kitchen, spacious living room, bonus small entryway area. Bathroom doesn't connect to either bedroom, which is great for shares. There is a lockable door between the two bedrooms -- I imagine if you wanted to use one as a study or you have a baby, that could be really great, but my roommate and I just kept it locked. The apartment is on the second floor of a two story building.

Landlord is wonderful and quickly responsive to issues without being overbearing. The neighborhood is predominantly families and students. Laundromat across the street, liquor store/bodega on the corner. You're a short walk from the Journal Square PATH station and several buses stop between 1 and 3 blocks away.

Rent is $1600/month, which includes heat and hot water.
