New York

Very comfortable space, to escape from the hustle of the city. 2 bedrooms. 1 bath. Dining area seats up to 8. Living room, lounge area set up for projector home theater (can be included if you are interested). Beds are comfy. One queen size bed, the other room is full size. Bedrooms have dressers, full closet, desk/table, and storage.

All very tastefully and pleasantly renovated.

In Alphabet City (Avenue D), quick walk away from East Village, NYU, Chinatown, Lower East Side, and SOHO. Walk to Union Square. Perfect to ride a bicycle.

Convenience stores downstairs: Laundromat, Corner bodegas, CVS Pharmacy, Chinese and Pizza restaurant, Dollar store

10 minute walk to F train at 2nd Avenue (it actually lets out a block closer, at 1st Avenue)
15 minute walk to BDMF trains at SOHO and 6 train at Bleeker Ave, as well as NR Astor Place and 6 train at Astor Place / St Marks
20 minute walk to Union Square

Perfect if you ride bikes. I have bikes for sale/rent cheap as well.

Overall, the area is very safe and quiet. I have felt safer here than in most areas of Brooklyn, even (and sometimes especially) the ones going or recently having gone through "gentrification". There is peace and friendliness here on Avenue D, where everyone lives together in harmony.

Union Market gourmet grocery at Avenue A. Couple local grocery stores including Key Foods are great. Whole Foods is also pretty close. Couple of my favorite venues are here. The Stone at Avenue C plays avant garde and experimental Jazz nightly. The Wild Project is an art-house experimental avant-garde theater venue. There are comedy, Jazz, poetry, and of course bars and restaurants at Avenue C just a block away from the apartment.
